Refund Policy
Effective Date: 01/01/2026
This Refund Policy applies to all bookings, deposits, and payments made with Pete's Fishing & Guided Adventures ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy is intended to clearly outline when refunds may or may not be issued and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions.
1. Deposits

-
A deposit is required to reserve a guided fishing charter.
-
Deposits are non-refundable except in the limited circumstances described in Section 3 below.
-
Deposits secure a specific date and time and represent liquidated damages for administrative costs, scheduling, and lost booking opportunities.
2. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

-
Cancellations made by the customer 7 days or more prior to the scheduled trip are not eligible for a refund of the deposit but may be eligible for a one-time reschedule, subject to availability.
-
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled trip will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
-
No-shows, late arrivals, or failure to be ready at the scheduled departure time are not eligible for refunds and may be charged the full trip amount.
3. Company-Initiated Cancellations (Weather and Safety)

-
Pete's Fishing & Guided Adventures retains sole discretion to determine whether weather, ocean or river conditions, mechanical issues, regulatory restrictions, or other safety concerns make a trip unsafe or impractical to operate.
-
If the Company cancels a trip solely due to weather or safety conditions, the customer may choose one of the following remedies:
-
A full refund of the deposit, or
-
A rescheduled trip with the deposit applied in full.
-
No refunds will be issued for customer travel expenses, lodging, meals, or other incidental costs.
4. Early Termination of Trips

-
Once a trip has commenced, no refunds or credits will be issued for early termination due to changing weather conditions, safety concerns, mechanical issues, or participant conduct.
5. Processing of Refunds

-
Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
-
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment processor and financial institution.
-
Transaction or processing fees charged by third-party payment providers are non-refundable where permitted by law.
6. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable Oregon or federal law where refunds are required.
7. Policy Acknowledgment
By booking a trip, submitting a deposit, or making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.
